Hi Daniel! that are good news!

There is other people sending their designs but your team (designer+modeller) have an enormous advantage...

At this moment these are the designs: http://www.lamoto2.es/category/carroceria/

Wait for yours!

Hi,

I see a possible chassis design is being shown on the lamoto.es web site. I'd like to get the load cases that were used to size the members. I guess there is a standard set of loads based on the predicted all up weight of the bike and its expected enviroment.

Do you have any load case information that might be used to check the load paths and make a first pass at sizing a chassis structure.

I'm also thinking about a trapezoid rear suspension layout that would mean chain tension would not change with suspension travel. I need some loads to figure out whether this is doable.

Thanks...M

Hugo we have a front part made of carbon (Aerodinamic profiled) but have no time to test it.
I can not reduce the width because we need the space to turn the wheel. I have modified the
website and added more information : www.romoto.com
Regards Francesco

Interesting system Francesco! but why didn't you built the front part from Carbon and integrated the front fender into it? (and probably the whole system could be made smaller in width)...a bit like the Britten ;)

I think the Metiss and JBB are the same systems (same designer). After reading the rules of Moto2 it seems the airbox much be standard, which is a shame...good luck with the project!
